It’s a tricky one really as wholesome British male singers are in short supply these days. Girls rule the roost in the world of popular music right now, both here and across the pond. Having said that, a gender swap Summer Holiday update might be a refreshing approach… Hmm…
Anyway, having deliberated for quite a while, I’ve decided that I’d be most intrigued to see JLS in the role of Cliff and The Shadows. What do you think?
A much more likely Summer Holiday update of course would be an American remake starring the Jonas Brothers and a trio of Disney girl singers such as Emily Osment, Miley Cyrus, and Selena Gomez. Yawn.
